Bio:
Karen Eastwood of Story Spot is a writer, storyteller, podcast host and educator. Alex Wegner is a graphic recorder, designer and illustrator. Karen and Alex have collaborated on many local projects, including Scribble Sisters, Gifts from the Gods (resilience story making for students), and now Story Spots, a unique celebration of people and connection to place in Newcastle.

Story Spots project is a series of interviews with Newcastle residents describing the places with which they feel most connected. The recorded interviews are then presented as short digital animations. Each interview is a celebration of the unique relationship between people and place within Newcastle.
